Previously on the originals: the mikaelsons are in a deep desire to protect their niece and daughter, Hope, But  in order for keeping her safe they have to destroy the eternal vow of Always and Forever. The hollow is now in the 4 mikaelson siblings Rebekah, kol, klaus, and Elijah.

Years have passed yet the Mikealson family stays divided as the hollow haunts them from the inside out. But something pulls the Mikealson family together. Hayley’s unexpected kidnapping by Greta Sierrie. As Elijah does not remember his family he falls in love with Antoinette, Greta’s daughter. Elijah’s intentions are mistaken as he intends to protect his new family with Antoinette. In the process          Hayley dies and Hope will not forgive Elijah at any cost. So she traps her family in a chamber de chasse, a pocket dimension filled with riddles to find your way out. Hope intends to take the hollow back from them and put it in herself. But after escaping the chamber de chasse Elijah gets his memories back and all the guilt of killing Hayley. Now that Hope has the hollow she is running out of time and dying. Klaus will not let her daughter die so he takes the hollow into himself and he intends to die with the hollow inside of him but Elijah will not let him die on his own so he dies along with him in order to protect Hope. And that is the end of Always and Forever indeed...........
