It's a new beggining for the great tribrid Hope Mikaelson, the gates of the salvatore protects the secret of people like her and under the light of the full moon they were hoping to open the doors for someone new. Rafael  is a werewolf and has come with his foster brother Landon, who seems to have been having the side effects of a supernatural being and has stolen a special knife not knowing why consciously. Since then supernatural beings that have not existed since centuries like Drayads, dragons,  gargoyles, necromancers, mummies, genies and etc have now returned in a possession to retrieve that knife.  Soon it is understood that there is a black pit of goo called malivore who was created centuries ago by the blood of a witch, werewolf and a vampire like a hell portal  who consumes creatures and wipes their existance from the conciousness of people. Malivore tried to create people like him but he was a mud man and once a mud man means always a mud man. He created people like him to continue his legacy but they all were like him a mud man and they were not even like him they were imperfect. His legacy could not be contined so once he found a way to create humans biologically. He gave birth to a human but he was imperfect too, someone who couldn't continue his legacy so he dumped his son, Ryan Clarke. After malivore's need was over the creators of malivore had to erase a mark that appeared on his head when they created him. He was loyal to every vampire, witch and werewolf and when the time had come to destroy their creation he betrayed his creators and sided with the humans. But soon Ryan came to his senses and convinced the humans that he was a threat to our kind so they decided to turn him back to mud. For centuries a company named Triad industries has worked on doing experiments with malivore. Once Landon's biological mother jumped into malivore. He felt empathetic for her so he removed her and she was pregnant with Landon turns out he is a Phoenix and soon when the salvatore school learns about Landon nature they allow him to stay. Malivore was locked with 3 different artifacts like a binding agent to unlock him every monster that comes out of malivore is promised piece if they retrieve the 3 artifacts soon all those 3 artifacts are tossed into malivore. Hope has to find away to stop him from rising and she does. He was created by the blood of a tribrid and only a tribrid can defeat him so in order to save her friends and family Hope figured out that she is the loophole, she is the only one who can defeat malivore so she jumps into malivore and then she's forgotten by all her friends and the portal is finally closed.....
